How Phages Saved a Man's Life

In addition to being a phage researcher at Yale University, Dr. Benjamin Chan also serves as one of Phages for Global Health's workshop instructors and collaborates with Phages for Global Health to develop a phage product against cholera. In an exciting development, he and his colleagues at Yale New Haven Hospital successfully used phages to treat a patient suffering from an antibiotic-resistant infection. Dr. Chan was recently interviewed about that case on the Science Friday radio show.
